In september 2003, the Alumni Association of Northwestern Polytechnic University was established with the approval of Shaanxi Provincial Department of civil affairs.The Alumni Association aims to build a bridge and link between the alma mater and alumni, promote the contact and cooperation between the alma mater and alumni, and provide services and support for the school and alumni.So far, 37 local alumni branches, 19 overseas alumni branches and 7 industry branches have been established.

The NWPU alumni community of more than 320,000 graduates have made amazing achievements and impact in their respective fields. Many of our alumni are actively involved in the University's activities, where they volunteer their time and expertise to mentor students, organise events, serve on the Alumni Council and foster alumni ties in the respective alumni associations.
